Adrián Puello-Guerrero is handworker in cancer research and knowledge management, currently serving as the National Cancer Institute Research and Knowledge Management and an Epidemiology and Biostatistics Professor at the prestigious Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) in the Dominican Republic. He holds an MD degree from UASD, an MPH from the University of Bordeaux, and is pursuing a PhD in Public Health Sciences. Dr. Puello-Guerrero\'s expertise includes determining the genetic signature of cervical cancer in Dominican women and creating the country\'s first Biobank of oncological tissue. He has received recognition as the Researcher of the Year and holds numerous key positions and accolades. His research spans cancer screening, epidemiological landscapes, and simulation modeling. Leading several research programs, supported by esteemed institutions. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Dr. Puello-Guerrero has received esteemed awards, such as the Researcher of the Year 2019 National Prize in Health Sciences, and has been acknowledged as a National Member of the Dominican Academy of Medicine. At present, he spearheads numerous research programs, supported by prestigious institutions like FONDOCYT, the National Cancer Institute (NIH), AstraZeneca Pharma, and others, focusing on optimizing cervical cancer screening, exploring the epidemiological landscapes of cervical cancer in Latin America, and addressing disparities in breast cancer management.
