Karianne Svendsen received her PhD in Nutrition from the University of Oslo in 2018 and now holds a postdoctoral researcher position at the Cancer Registry of Norway, Oslo University Hospital. Here, she is working with registry data and a randomized controlled trial of late effects in breast cancer survivors. She has had research positions at the Department of Nutrition, Oslo University Hospital and the Lipid Clinic, Oslo University Hospital where her main research interests were in the field of nutrition, lipids including cholesterol and primary prevention of cardiovascular disease. She is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Norwegian Journal of Nutrition.
