Dr. Jing-Rong Jhuang is a postdoctoral scholar at the Institute of Statistical Science, Academia Sinica, Taiwan. He earned his Ph.D. from the Institute of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at National Taiwan University, where he also completed his undergraduate studies in Statistics at National Cheng Kung University. His research focuses on integratively analyzing multimodal data using biobank-centric databases and advanced AI to enhance precision health. He has a strong background in statistical genetics, genetic epidemiology, and the development of statistical methods in spatial and spatio-temporal epidemiology. Dr. Jhuang has demonstrated his expertise through numerous publications in high-impact journals, covering topics such as the reduction of arsenic-related cancer burden, latency periods for aristolochic acid-induced cancers, and trends in cancer incidence. His work has been recognized with several awards, including the Taiwan Epidemiology Association Excellent Doctoral Thesis Award and the National Taiwan University Applied Statistics Doctoral Thesis Award. Dr. Jhuang is fluent in Mandarin and American English and proficient in programming languages such as R, SAS, SQL, and Python. He has also contributed to the scientific community as a reviewer for journals like BMC Public Health and Scientific Reports.
