Hannah Baltus completed her Master's degree in Biostatistics at the University of Luebeck, Germany in the year 2019. She is currently a PhD candidate and research assistant at the Institute of Social Medicine and Epidemiology at the University of Luebeck (Head: Prof. Dr. Alexander Katalinic). Her supervisors are Dr. Nora Eisemann and Prof. Dr. Annika Waldmann. Hanna's research focuses on skin cancer and lung cancer, screening programmes and the opportunities of clinical cancer registration, particularly with regard to the population-based evaluation of treatments.
