Hanne Peirelinck (°1988, Belgium) holds a bachelors degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (KU Leuven, Belgium, 2011) and a masters degree in Drug Development (KU Leuven, Belgium, 2013). She worked several years as a pharmacist in a community-based pharmacy. Following her interest in evidence-based medicine and public health, she obtained a masters degree in Epidemiology (Maastricht University, the Netherlands) in 2021. For her thesis she did research on treatment patterns for patients diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer at the Maastricht University Medical Centre, which piqued her interest in cancer research. Since graduating in 2021, she has worked at the Belgian Cancer Registry, were she contributes to studies related to cancer epidemiology and quality of care.
