Allini Mafra da Costa is an accomplished epidemiologist and cancer research scientist with extensive experience in global public health. She is currently working as an epidemiological research scientist at the National Cancer Registry in Luxembourg. Before this, she had served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Luxembourg Institute of Health, where she contributed significantly to public health research. Allini holds a PhD from Barretos Cancer Hospital, Brazil, where she has also been deeply involved in cancer registry coordination, research, and biostatistics. Throughout her career, Allini has worked on numerous international projects, including postdoctoral research with the Cancer Surveillance Branch (CSU) at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) under the World Health Organization (WHO), and as a consultant for the African Cancer Registry Network.
