Meshack Rens Mwantake (born in 1996, Mbeya Tanzania, East Africa) was educated at Ilolo
primary school, Sangu secondary school and Mzumbe secondary school for advanced level
education where he took a PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) combination. In 2016 he
joined Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College to pursue doctor of medicine where he
has graduated this year, 2021. He developed a passion of doing health related research after he joined the college, where he had
been involved in research activities since when he was in year one as a medical student. In his fourth year as a medical student, he conducted a research on cervical cancer screening
among women living with HIV with his two colleagues. He also attended the 2nd national non
communicable disease conference in November 2020 which was prepared by the ministry of
health in Tanzania where together with his friend they presented one of the studies they did. When he was a fifth year medical student, he was involved in a collaboration program with
Cornell University, where he was directly involved in writing of a case study on neonatal
mortality in his country, Tanzania. He considers this competition as a privilege for his pursuit in research career and he just fell in
love with the competition idea. He is passionate in healthy related research as he believes it is paramount in getting solutions to
the problem encountered in health sector especially in low and middle income countries his
country being included
