Laura Schumann completed her Master\'s degree in Biostatistics at the University of Luebeck in the year 2019. She is currently a PhD candidate and research assistant at the Institute of Social Medicine and Epidemiology at the University of Luebeck. In addition to her research, she coordinates several teaching courses in epidemiology and statistics. In 2021, she won the Teaching Award in the Master’s programme in Health and Healthcare Science. She is involved in research on cancer epidemiology and evaluation of cancer screening programmes. In collaboration with Prof. Dr. Katalinic at the university of Luebeck, her main research interests are skin cancer and breast cancer and the evaluation of their screening programmes.
